1.Can you give us a little bit of background about your previous job/background?
I left Walton high school in 2018 after completing my GCSEs, I then went on to go to Stafford College to complete my diploma in performing engineering operations. Whilst completing the course I worked part time at home bargains. I will be looking to go to college to support my apprenticeship and gain the theoretical knowledge to support my practical work.
2. Where did your interest in manufacturing come from?
I wanted to take on an apprenticeship because it’s a great way to gain qualifications and experience in a working environment whilst earning. Working at Allett appealed to me greatly due to it being local and having a well known reputation for the quality of the products. My interest in manufacturing meant this role was ideal for me. I've always been a very practical person so wanted to work in a role like this. Being a football fan too it's amazing to know that you are working on the machines that are being used to cut the grass at the biggest stadiums in the world.
