The new and exciting company restructure has brought about new job roles.
Lauren Haynes joins us as
Customer Services Supervisor
Can you give us a bit of a background of your previous role/qualifications etc?
I was previously working as a Customer Services Supervisor for a large Timber company. I had been with the company for just over 4 years. During this time I worked with many high profile customers ensuring they were happy with the service they were receiving from beginning to end. It was my responsibility to deal with all warranty claims and approve any returns/refund offers and offer any technical advice our customers required. I had to communicate with suppliers from all over the world to highlight and rectify any product faults/missed expected delivery dates etc.
I graduated from university in 2015 – BA Hons Drama (I’ve been customer facing ever since and believe that my degree has really helped with that in terms of developing my communication and public speaking skills).
Can you give us a bit of background on your life e.g. where you live/married/kids/hobbies- what you do in spare time etc- any interesting facts
I currently live in Uttoxeter with my little girl. She was born in March at the very beginning of lockdown so my early experience of motherhood has been very strange and unique. In my spare time I can be found on the theatre scene taking part in various musicals/plays in the Stoke on Trent area. I am a country bumpkin at heart though so love to get out for country walks/rides with my dog or horse when possible.
What is the proudest moment of your working career so far?
This answer is going to sound incredibly cheesy but I think the proudest moment of my working career so far has been being offered this role fresh from maternity leave! I was really ready for a new start and was incredibly pleased (and grateful) to be offered the chance to join the team here at Allett.
What are you most excited about working for Allett?
I have joined Allett at a very exciting time so I am looking forward to really getting to grips with the role and taking it full steam ahead. Everyone here has been so welcoming and it has a great family feel about it. That can be difficult to find so I am really looking forward to building strong, positive working relationships with the team.
What does your new job role involve on a day to day basis?
I’m responsible for handling customer/dealer experience and essentially making sure that all customers are happy, dealing with any issues, order queries, etc and never losing focus of customer satisfaction.
